The glass roof is polished and the freshly cut grass is awaiting the players at Wimbledon. From Monday 22nd of June the first ball will be served and many of the tennis players below the top-100 can finaly get a shot at the big championship.
The qualifying round will run until Thursday 25th of June and only then will the draw be made for the actual championship that will be held from Monday 29th of June until the 12th of July.
We’re of course cheering for Andy Murray. Otherwise the favourites remain the same Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal. For the women’s championship the favourites are Serena Williams, of course, but also Maria Sharapova and Petra Kvitova.
