The Grand Slam Tennis Tournaments

Although the game of Tennis originated in Britain, it has since spread far and wide with tournaments played all over the world. Throughout the year, the stars of both the ATP and WTA excite and entertain spectators as they all compete to become the best in the world. The most important of these tournaments are the four Grand Slam events, which are played in the same order every year. Things kick off with The Australian Open, then on to the French Open, followed by the grass court championships at Wimbledon and then the slam events finish off with the US Open.
