A pretty big drama was needed for Novak Djokovic to book a place in the French Open final. The Wimbledon champion had to go on a limb on the fifth set against Andy Murray and there was fire in both players from start to end. On the first 2 sets, the Serbian got away with 6-3, 6-3 but then Murray made a pretty big comeback. He won third set with 7-5 and the fourth with the same score. We must arm ourselves with patience if we are to see who will face Stanislas Wawrinka in the men’s French Open final. This is because the semifinals between Wimbledon champion Novak Djokovic and British Andy Murray was cancelled because of rainy weather and storm on Friday. There wasn’t much love in the air as Novak Djokovic beat the great Rafael Nadal in the French Open quarter finals. One would have thought that the “moral final” would have been a fair fight, where choosing a favorite would have been impossible. But for the second time in 11 years Nadal had to realise that there wouldn’t be another French Open title waiting for him this time.
