There wasn’t much love in the air as Novak Djokovic beat the great Rafael Nadal in the French Open quarter finals. One would have thought that the “moral final” would have been a fair fight, where choosing a favorite would have been impossible. But for the second time in 11 years Nadal had to realise that there wouldn’t be another French Open title waiting for him this time. In 2009 he had to give up his place to Robin Söderling and then Roger Federer ended up taking the title home.
