A pretty big drama was needed for Novak Djokovic to book a place in the French Open final. The Wimbledon champion had to go on a limb on the fifth set against Andy Murray and there was fire in both players from start to end.
On the first 2 sets, the Serbian got away with 6-3, 6-3 but then Murray made a pretty big comeback. He won third set with 7-5 and the fourth with the same score.
However, in the fifth set there wasn’t much to ponder about as Djokovic ruled the court and won 6-1. He then faced Stan Wawrinka in the finals on Sunday and lost despite his stronger position and him clearly being the favorite.
